New Project.

I know it has been a long time, well over a year since I posted on my blog. I would say from being busy, but actually, just lazy and forgetfulness.

A lot has happened in the past year. Christmas 2009 I spent 2 hrs in a snow ditch waiting for a tow in the middle of a SD Blizzard. Bought a car. Lost friends, and gain some old ones back and new ones, only to lose the new friends (they weren't important) also have a journey of finding my place in this world which I hope to say is with someone. As well as many other things in between.

So my project is going to be some photo projects. First one is, "A day in the life....." and Josh agreed to be my subject. I follow him for a day, take pictures of his life, people, objects, views. Everything I feel I want to document.

The other, which makes me very excited is "100 Strangers" I basically get 100 people to allow me to photograph them. I ask a few questions about their life, and document it. I think this will be exciting and I am very pumped to start this. My first subject I think will be the old guy who collects cans around town on his bike with a little trailer behind him :)

Partially this was inspired by my little cousin who is doing a 365day project. As well as by the person who bought me my new camera and has put faith into my ability to capture people/moments.

So I will post here when I do my first project "A day in the life....."

Day Twenty-five and Twenty-Six

Day Twenty-Five

So I did not do a work-out, because it is the day off of working out, but I did go to the gym and did 20 minutes of cardio. That was about it for yesterday. had some veggies and pork loin for dinner. Nothing special.

Day Twenty-Six

Woke up, tired and wanted to sleep but still went to the gym. The first person I see when I walk in is the one person I really dis like in this town. When I first started at Dak, I was excited to move to a new place and make new friends. This woman made that impossible for me, and caused me to hate coming to work. Amanda..... I will not say last names but this woman was rude, snotty, and thought her shit was too good for you. Yeah, she was nice at first, but then she alienated me. Soon, everyone in my team ignored me or didn't pay attention to me, or would treat me like crap. Eventually, I just hated coming to work, to work with those people, but loved my actual job. I was the black sheep of my group because I was a rocker girl, I liked punk rock, black and was opinionated. Well she left 2 years ago in April.... I went to her going away parting, only to celebrate that I didn't have to work with her anymore and get free drinks from her LOL.... evil I know :)

But yeah, so I saw her, and I truthfully think she knows I dislike her a lot.... she saw me, smiled and said "Hi Ashley" and kept walking. She also said bye as I was leaving. Its not like when you normally see someone outside of work, you are like "HEY you are not at work!" and you chat a bit.... there was none of that. I said a soft spoken Hi and Bye back to her, hoping my mind didn't hear me say it, and think I betrayed it HAHAH.... kidding... but yeah...

So the workout was good, did my machine routine, and did cardio for 25 minutes.

About to go eat breakfast :)

Day Twenty to Twenty-Four

I really slacked in writing my blog... I am sorry. Here is an update for the past few days.

Twenty

Was saturday, and did my weekly gentle streach yoga. Also did my work out one so I can start an actual work out plan and follow. It went good, learned a few good tips. However, it is a fully body workout, so I can only work out every other day. Then I played Wii most of the day, Rachel and I kick ass at Mario Cart :D

Twenty-one

Was a whole lot of nothing. Our arms were so sore from the Wii and my working out, that Rachel and I just went to Sioux Falls, ate at Coco Palace, I had some Unagi, fried steam dumplings, miso soup, and Tia Curry. I am such a heifer when it comes to good Japanese cuisine. Spent the rest of the day watching Flash dance and relaxing.

Twenty-two

Monday, I didn't do much. I did my workout, however I did not do cardio, due to I didn't feel to well in the tummy. So I did the machines and that was it. Nothing interesting to report for the rest of the day.

Twenty-three

Yesterday did nothing. I played about an hrs worth of Wii Tennis, broke a sweat and then watched part of 300 with Rachel and Billy. Then went to bed.

Twenty-four

Did my workout again today. This time I did do the cardio for about 20 mins. Tomorrow I think I may just do cardio at least.

Well that is is, I hope to keep up with this much better.

Day Eighteen and Nineteen

Day Eighteen...

I slept in, I was so tired by the end of Wednesday that yesterday I wanted to sleep, so I did. So no workout or anything. Came home washed dishes, and watched TV and then went to bed.

Day Nineteen...

I did go to the gym today, did legs and got on the treadmill for about 20 mins. Then got on the EFX machine for 5 more. So I did well I think. Tomorrow is Gentle Stretch Yoga and then I do my workout one with a professional so they can get me on the right track. I hope by January I will have dropped at least one to two pant sizes and at least 15 lbs. (Gaining muscle mass) so I can't expect to loose to much :)

Breakfast was two eggs, two slices of toast and few strips of Bacon. I love my protein :)

Day Sixteen and Seventeen

Day Sixteen

So I didn't blog yesterday. Mainly because I woke up at 5am went to the gym at 5:30 came home and showered and went to work an hr early. Had to do this so I could go to the Dentist yesterday afternoon.

I am starting to work on getting my teeth fixed. Has been an issue with myself for a good 15 years. Most who know me, I don't have nice teeth. Mainly caused by genetics of my parents and a bad Child Dentist. It will cost lots of money, not sure how I will pay for it all, but I will have it done eventually.

Day Seventeen

Went to workout my normal time today. Did arms and cardio and I am extremely tired, but I am not letting it stop me.

I am changing my life around dramatically in the next several months. Working out to achieve the body I once had, and get the beautiful smile I dream of daily. Lots of self esteem issues, but eventually they will be all taken care of, and I can love myself again fully :)

Well that's it for today, going to shower and get to work.

Day Fourteen and Fifteen

Day Fourteen:

wasn't much of anything really. Just lazed around watched TV, Watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone. My aunt then called me around 3pm left me a VM "Grandma and Pa are in town, they want to take you to Apple bee's for dinner, call me back if you like to go" So I called and said sure after Seeing if Rachael wanted to go, since we were suppose to make Spinach Lasagna. So went to dinner and got to see my adorable Grandma and Pa :) They are such jokers I love them to death, I also love when they buy me dinner too HAHAHAH. Came home, and watched Pirate of the Caribbean: Worlds End. Then went to bed around 10pm :)

Day Fifteen:

So far today was just working out. I worked out upper body, and did 20 mins of cardio. Came home and now just relaxing, about to eat some breakfast. After some thinking, I am going to see about my one for one that comes with my membership, and see how that works for me. If it doesn't I am going to see what the Gym charges for a Personal Trainer. If it isn't too much, I may try that, so I can be in the best shape ever, and do things right.

I been working out for two weeks. Last Saturday I measured myself, should have at the beginning, however, in just a weeks time, I lost a few inches all over. Which makes me very happy. I am not sure on the weight, but I am more worried about inches then anything.

Day Thirteen

Lots to talk about today :) Last night met up with Josh and Christene at the Nine at Nine. They didn't stay long, both weren't feeling the greatest :/ but Rachael and I stayed. In about one hr I downed 3 Slow Comfortable Screws which are amazingly good! Sloe Gin, Southern Comfort, Vodka and OJ. I sware I am highly addicted to these things thanks to Josh :) We then went to the liquor store and bought some SoCo, Coke and Bud and drank more. Picked up Billy and drank some more, while billy drank his Hamm's Beer. It was a mellow night, for the most part, bit of stress for Rachael, but I hope I took care of it for her :)

Then I woke up around 8:30 still a tad drunk I think, but its ok. Then went to the gym this morning for Gentle Stretch Yoga, was nice and relaxing. Came home, had breakfast, two eggs with onions and tomatoes, two slices of toast and two slices of bacon. Topped off with a nice glass of Apple Juice.

I feel ready to go, and do something today, but I have no clean clothes. I have laundry to do, and maybe clean house a bit today, though it isn't bad at all.
